In a desperate gambit, Fi strikes a bargain with Antal, agreeing to help him uncover the true masterminds behind the coup and reclaim his city.
I have mixed feelings about this book – I love the idea of it and Fi and Antal are great characters, but I was also confused about the “Void” and thought the writing was a bit repetitive and love scenes with razor-sharp teeth and claws seemed hard to believe. I think that maybe this was maybe a bit too “monster” for me and I probably won’t be reading the next book.
